Our Story

Built for the way Central Florida lives.

Next Level Pools and Spas is a custom boutique, hands-on pool contractor based in Maitland. We design and build new pools from the ground up, take on comprehensive renovations of older pools, and deliver large-scale commercial projects — hotel pools, community pools, and condo associations — alongside our high-end residential work.

Quality over quantity. We're not in it for the volume — we're in it to build pools we can stand behind. Owners are involved in every phase of construction, and the office answers every inquiry the same business day.

  • 01 Custom Every build is drawn from scratch — never pulled from a template library.
  • 02 Quality Built to stand behind, not just at handoff. We turn down work we can't do well.
  • 03 Communication Every inquiry answered the same business day. Owners involved every phase of the build.
  • 04 Both Residential & commercial — single-family backyards, hotel pools, community pools, condo associations.

How It Works

Four steps. One standard.

Every Next Level project — new build, renovation, or spa addition — moves through the same four stages. Owners involved in every phase.

  1. 01

    Free on-site visit

We walk the lot or look at the existing pool, measure access, and listen to how you actually want to use the backyard. No deposit, no obligation.

  2. 02

    Drawings & honest scope

You get a scaled drawing of the pool, deck, equipment pad, and a written scope with specified finishes — so the bid isn't hiding upsells inside generic line items.

  3. 03

    Permits & engineering

Most projects require permits. We handle engineering, permitting, and inspections across Central Florida counties and municipalities.

  4. 04

    Build

Excavation, steel, gunite, plumbing, tile, coping, deck, plaster, equipment, and startup — sequenced properly, checked in person at every stage, with the office in regular contact throughout.

"Robbie, Jesse, Melissa and all of their subcontractors were amazing from the minute I met them until the on-time completion. The entire process was easy, stress-free, and beyond my expectations on communication, work quality, and attention to detail."

Barbara C. Google Review

"From the first time we met Robbie, Melissa and Jesse they were so personable to deal with. Robbie helped us design the pool with the features we wanted and showed us options for blending colors with our existing pavers. They were right on point with the timeline — we could not have been happier with the finished product."

Terry B. Google Review

"I waited two years for them to do my pool renovation and it was totally worth it. They were amazing from start to finish. My pool looks absolutely amazing — they didn't bite off more than they could chew."

Darren K. Google Review

"Next Level went above and beyond in our pool design and install. Robbie was patient with all my questions and requests for changes, and showed us options that actually ended up improving what I thought we wanted."

Amy M. Google Review

"Next Level did an awesome job on our pool project. From start to finish they were professional, communicated well, and actually hit every timeline they gave us — which is rare these days."

Common Questions

What homeowners ask us first.

Straight answers on cost, permits, scope, and process. For anything specific, call the office at 321-972-9002.

  • How much does a custom pool cost in Central Florida?

Custom pool projects across Greater Orlando vary widely based on size, finish tier, equipment, and whether you're adding a spa, water features, or a full deck rebuild. Rather than anchor on a generic range, we put a real number against your specific project after a free on-site visit. Every estimate is written against a scaled drawing with line-item pricing — no generic categories, no surprise upsells.

  • How long does a pool build take?

Build times vary based on scope, finishes, weather, and permitting — every project is different and every project requires permits. We share a project schedule at signing so you always know what's next, but we don't pre-promise calendar weeks before we've walked the lot. The office stays in regular contact throughout the build so you're never wondering where things stand.

  • Do you handle permits, HOA approval, and inspections?

Yes. Most projects require permits, and we handle the entire process — permitting with Orange, Seminole, Lake, Volusia, and surrounding counties or municipalities, engineering, and all inspections. We'll also prep HOA submittal packets — scaled drawings, elevation, finish specs — so you can get board approval without back-and-forth.

  • What areas do you serve?

We serve Central Florida from Orlando to the coast — Maitland, Winter Park, Orlando, Altamonte Springs, Longwood, Lake Mary, Oviedo, Casselberry, Apopka, Sanford, Heathrow, Baldwin Park, and beyond. We also take commercial projects (hotel pools, community pools, condo associations) across the region. Outside that radius for residential, call us — the right project is worth the drive.

  • What kind of renovations do you take on?

We focus on comprehensive, multi-scope renovations — projects where surface, tile, coping, deck, and equipment are addressed together as one coordinated project rather than sequenced across years. For single-scope work — just a resurface, just a tile replacement — we'll happily refer you to a Central Florida specialist who does that day in and day out.

  • Do you handle commercial pool projects?

Yes. Alongside our high-end residential work, Next Level builds and renovates commercial projects — hotel pools, community pools, condo associations, and major custom builds across Central Florida.

  • What's included in a Next Level pool build?

Every new build includes: engineered gunite shell with full rebar grid, plumbing, variable-speed equipment pad with full Jandy automation, glass or porcelain waterline tile, premium plaster or aggregate finish (we're a Pebble Tec authorized builder), deck (travertine or paver), coping, Nicheless Jandy LED lighting, chemistry startup, and a follow-up visit. Sun shelves are a popular Florida feature we build into most projects.
