ResizingOriginal gunite shell was fine. Everything around it wasn't — cracked tile, failed plaster, outdated equipment, an undersized heater the prior owner had been nursing for a decade. We gutted the finish, re-plumbed the pad, re-tiled the waterline, added a spillover spa, and poured a new travertine deck. Same pool footprint. Completely new backyard.
